DeVious Details Logo (2024)

Creating a logo for my personal art venture was long overdue. I don’t particularly enjoy logo design, so I had been putting it off, but preparations for renting a booth at my first art market in December 2024 finally lit a fire under me. The end result was a combination of vector art created in Adobe Illustrator for the text and hand drawn line art and stippling with Micron pens for the illustrated elements.  The forms were a tangle of bone and wood, frequent subjects of my Born of Giants series, and the buds, blossoms, and aerial roots of the orchid – a family of plants that I’ve come to love and cultivate over the past decade.
